Very strong westerlies, hail showers but generally quite pleasant.

A few scarce winter visitors made the trip worthwhile - two Lapwing vipe and seven Starling stær may have been blown in by the recent storms. A Curlew storspove was probably new in whereas three Common Snipe enkeltbekkasin were long-stayers.

Four Black-headed Gulls hettmåke flew past the house in the afternoon - a massive winter flock for these parts.

Road kill at Oen - the knife is 13cm long so this bird was not small....
