Common Crossbill grankorsnebb
One of at least two Sparrowhawk spurvehauk on the island todayObviously quieter than my previous visit (11 October). Highlights today were a Water Rail vannrikse, a flock of 12 Waxwing sidensvans, a fly over Goldfinch stillits and a Red-necked Grebe gråstrupedykker.
Other birds seen during a morning visit included a Peregrine vandrefalk, nine Mealy Redpoll gråsisik, a couple of Brambling bjørkefink, a Dunnock jernspurv (late), a late Oystercatcher tjeld and three Curlew storspove.
