Little Auks alkekonge

Eiders ærfugl
Spent a couple of productive hours seawatching at Skogsøy. Plenty of passage despite very strong southerly winds. It was largely Little auks alkeonge (94 altogether) and Long-tailed duck havelle on the move, but also a Great Skua storjo (possibly the latest I have seen at Skogsøy), a couple of Red-throated Diver smålom and plenty more besides.
Checking out a few Rock pipit skjærpipelerke on the shore I saw that one of them was ringed....must be a migrant from somewhere else....
